Skin Matrix Facial Treatments

We understand that every skin is different and so have decided not to categorise your skin into a specific facial before you come in. Upon every appointment your Skin Matrix Aesthetician will analyse your skin to develop the facial that’s right for you. We use both the Cosmedix range and the Skin Matrix range to deliver vital nutrients, antioxidants, minerals necessary for your skins optimal health. This will give you optimal results every time. Your skin is for ever changing hence the need for personalised facials every time.

They run 1 hour in length and range between $100 and $120, including a hand and arm massage or foot and leg massage. Your treatment is not complete without the Skin Matrix signature facial, neck and décolletage massage

Mens Facial Treatments

Men are becoming more and more aware of the importance of a good skin care regime and clinic facials to keep their skin smooth, hydrated and blemish free. Using the results driven Janet Manly and Cosmedix products, your aesthetician will develop a regime just for you dependant on the results you want.

Microdermabrasion

Skin Matrix uses the medical Clairderm microdermabrasion machine that is a safe, non-invasive and extremely effective tool to remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.

You will see an immediate visible result or youthful brilliance, and illumination of dull and stressed looking skin even after one procedure. Your homecare products will also be able to penetrate 4-5 times greater than skins that have not been treated. Microdermabrasion increases microcirculation, bringing nutrients to the skin and improves greatly the appearance of all imperfections. However a program will be advised so that your skin care goals are achieved.

Facial Yoga Classes $85

Skin Matrix has developed a facial yoga class that helps to redefine and reshape your face. Everyone needs to exercise their face, simply laughing, smiling and frowning are not sufficient exercises to keep our youthful appearance and muscles firm. Much better than Botox, as Botox does not address sagging tissue. Restorative Yoga will help you enhance your inner and outer beauty with rejuvenation and easy-to-do exercises. Overtime our muscles lengthen as gravity pulls ever downward, causing the sagging we start to see in our face; our eyes start to droop, forehead and cheeks sag and jowls start to form. Exercising shortens muscles, and so we end up with a tighter, firmer face as we tone the muscles musculature underneath. This is a natural, gradual way of retaining your youth that will ensure your individual charateristics remain. These exercises are both mentally, physically and spiritually uplifting as they create change from within, bringing the mind and body into harmony. Our face is our interace with the world, it is very easy to fall into expressions that convey different meanings to how we are actually feeling.

Our classes are for approximately 1 hour, all you need is yourself. We provide a mirror for you to practise your exercises with in class so you can replicate these at home. Class consists of warm up stretches, exercises and breathing. 10 minutes a day is all that is advised for you to see effect. You can do these at home, in front of the TV, in the car, anywhere where you are waiting! You benefit more from short sessions to long marathon sessions making it even more easy to fit into your day.
