Minerals are easy to apply to the skin and you will soon learn that less is more. They are a concentrated pigment so remember that when you are applying onto the skin. There are 3 different bases in the Jane Iredale line: Amazing Base, PurePressed, Base and Liquid Minerals. Choosing a base is a matter of personal preference, they will all give a slightly different finish. The Amazing Base., which is the loose powder will give a dewy, soft finish that minimizes fine lines. PurePressed. Base is more of a matte finish and minimizes pores. The Liquid Minerals provides the benefits of a treatment serum combined with the coverage of a liquid makeup. You can use different application techniques with each one.
Choosing the Correct Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup Base:
Test a little on your jawline in natural light. Foundation that is too dark will exaggerate fine lines and accentuate pores. On darker skin choose a powder one shade lighter than the skin tone. This will lessen any ashy tendency. Because of the way the minerals interact with light, they are more forgiving than conventional makeup. You will be able to wear a couple of shades depending on the look you want to achieve. To begin your perfect application of your Jane Iredale Minerals, use a clean brush and have a well moisturized face. Be sure to allow the moisturiser to be absorbed into the skin, and pat off any excess before applying minerals.
